I wanted to let everyone know that the 470 Amateur Radio Group Net
Special event call has been approved and will be listed in QST..
The special event call is W4H (Whiskey Four Hotel )..
The dates are November 1st thru November 15th, from
1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, the operation frequencies will be
14.250, 7.250, 28.350, 3.850 mhz +/- 20khz per
the ARRL instructions....Those who are interested
in taking part in the Special Event please contact me
ASAP so that I can have the list to turn in ..... Before the
event will send those a brief story of the 470 Group,and the
repeater system of WB4GBI, with his approval also..
Still working on the 4th of July Event.. I am going to order
a 100 special event QSL cards. and if this goes well will
get more.. Because of cost and economy I am going to request that
a SASE be sent. Will advise more on QSL and event to those
who may want to participate in the event...Also if you
want to work a certain frequency...
